Bangalow is a thriving hinterland village about 20 minutes scenic drive from Byron Bay in the north and Ballina in the South. Bangalow is home to many festivals including the Bangalow Music Festival held in August each year, the Sample Food Festival held in September, and the local Billy Cart Derby where the main street of Bangalow is crowded with excited locals cheering on their favourite cart.
